MiTAC unveils AI products at Computex (TVBS News)

TAIPEI (TVBS News) — MiTAC Computing Technology Corp. (神雲科技) unveiled liquid-cooled server racks and diamond-cooled AI servers at Computex Taipei (台北國際電腦展) on Thursday (June 4). The technologies can reduce energy consumption and data center space requirements, the company said. The announcements came on the second-to-last day of Asia's largest technology trade show.

MiTAC's 52U High-Density AI Liquid-Cooled Rack (52U高密度液冷AI機櫃) features 96 AMD Instinct MI355X GPUs, boosting computing density by 50% and reducing data center space usage by 33%, the company said. The system is designed for next-generation AI factories.

The diamond-cooled AI server (鑽石散熱AI伺服器) employs Akash Systems' diamond cooling technology and houses the AMD Instinct MI350X GPU. It can operate in environments exceeding 35°C (95°F), increasing per-watt token computing efficiency by 50%. The technology helps enterprises reduce air conditioning energy consumption and operational costs, MiTAC said.

The announcements reflect growing demand for energy-efficient AI infrastructure as data centers worldwide face rising power costs and environmental scrutiny. MiTAC also introduced the MiOBMC baseboard management controller and MiOPF system firmware designed to improve data center management and cybersecurity. The company updated its MiCoreView management platform, which allows enterprises to monitor and manage large AI computing clusters.

Through partnerships with software and infrastructure providers, MiTAC demonstrated applications ranging from AI security governance to modular AI data centers. General Manager Rick Hwang (黃承德) said the company will continue to develop AI server, liquid cooling and software integration technologies. MiTAC aims to partner globally to create efficient, intelligent and sustainable AI infrastructure, Hwang said.

Computex Taipei, which runs through Friday (June 5), has drawn major technology companies showcasing AI hardware and infrastructure solutions. MiTAC Computing Technology is a subsidiary of MiTAC Holdings Corp. (神達投資控股), a Taiwan-based technology conglomerate. ◼
