TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taiwan People's Party (TPP) presidential candidate Ko Wen-je criticized his rivals from the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) and Kuomintang (KMT) on Monday (Dec. 11), accusing them of avoiding his questions, which he interprets as a sign of their lack of confidence.

Ko voiced his frustration while attending the "16th Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidate Number Draw" at the Central Election Commission (CEC). He expressed disappointment over DPP candidate Lai Ching-te and KMT candidate Hou Yu-ih not responding to the queries he posed during his "KP Show" live broadcast.

Ko boldly suggested there was no need to wait for a debate, offering to reveal the topics in advance, allowing his opponents time to prepare and an entire evening to consider their responses.

Ko also commented on their silence, saying, "Every day they don't respond, I'll ask the same questions. This suggests they may feel guilty. Eventually, the public will question their silence.

Additionally, Ko directly challenged the DPP and KMT to disclose their internal polling data, including raw numbers and cross-analysis tables, arguing that this transparency would be more credible than polls conducted within their respective parties.
