The production team announced the nominations Thursday (Aug. 7) through a press release, describing the series as a healing emotional family drama. They expressed elation at the recognition, stating that this achievement has invigorated both cast and crew. The series intricately weaves narratives of family, friendship, and marriage through a woman's story of dealing with her father's emerging dementia.
Chin Han, nominated for Best Actor, portrayed Cheng Kuang-chi (程光齊) and won viewers' hearts with his nuanced performance and infectious smile. He expressed delight that Korean audiences appreciated his character, noting his belief that goodwill and emotions are universal. Other nominated actors in this category include Owen Cooper from "Adolescence" and Adam Scott from "Severence."
