TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Hong Kong singer and actress Sandy Lam (林憶蓮) will headline the 2025 Simple Life Festival (2025簡單生活節) on Nov.29 and 30 at Huashan Grassland (華山大草原), organizers announced on Monday (Sept. 8). The announcement marks Lam's return to the festival after an 11-year hiatus, having last performed at the event in 2014. Her participation highlights the enduring connection between the renowned artist and her devoted Taiwanese fanbase.
Sandy Lam last visited Taiwan in 2016 for her 'Pranava' concert, where she also passionately advocated for marriage equality during her performances. Although her current 'Resonance' tour has not scheduled a Taiwan stop, devoted fans across the island eagerly await her festival appearance. The Simple Life Festival, Taiwan's premier indie music event, specially invited Lam to celebrate its milestone 20th anniversary celebration this year.
