TAIPEI (TVBS News) — A wave of excitement swept through Kaohsiung International Airport (小港機場) on Friday (Dec. 5) as South Korean stars Park Bo-gum (朴寶劍), IU (李知恩), Stray Kids, Cortis, and many others arrived in Taiwan. They are set to attend the Asia Artist Awards (AAA) at Kaohsiung National Stadium (高雄世運主場館) on Saturday, drawing over 3,000 fans to welcome them.
Park Bo-gum and IU, who arrived on the same flight, strategically emerged separately to avoid crowd-related dangers. Park led the way, followed by IU, causing a frenzy of screams from fans. The duo's popularity remains high, partly due to their collaboration in the drama "When Life Gives You Tangerines," which sparked discussions earlier this year.
Stray Kids also caused a commotion upon arrival. Member Lee Know appeared in a wheelchair due to an ankle injury. However, despite the injury, the group greeted fans warmly. Felix responded to fans' excited screams with kindness, while Bang Chan, at the end of the line, shared lighthearted moments, displaying his approachable nature.
Cortis, experiencing a breakthrough year, made their first visit to Taiwan, garnering significant attention. Member James (赵雨凡), who grew up in Taiwan, expressed his longing for local delicacies such as rice balls and soy milk, affirming his connection to the region.
