The display features a 9-meter-tall (30-foot) silver-white Christmas tree and iconic movie scenes with characters including Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, and Flash. The festive installation runs through Jan. 15 at the station's Exit 4 plaza, offering daytime displays and nighttime light shows.
A "Retro Christmas Market" opened Thursday (Dec. 5) at Xinzhongshan station plaza, offering Christmas trinkets and seasonal treats through Dec. 31. New users downloading the "Taipei Metro Go" app receive metro reward points and a limited-edition Christmas gift package as promotional incentives. The market complements the Zootopia installation as part of Taipei Metro's comprehensive holiday campaign to attract visitors and enhance seasonal experiences.
The "Disney Cats and Dogs Themed Painted Train" has operated on the Tamsui-Xinyi Line since Oct. 3, featuring beloved Disney animal characters. Each of the six carriages showcases unique Disney character themes, attracting large crowds of passengers seeking memorable photo opportunities throughout their journeys. The popular themed train continues running through Dec. 31 as part of Taipei Metro's ongoing entertainment and promotional offerings for commuters.
Shin Shin Bus introduced an innovative feature on its electric buses where the alighting bell doubles as an interactive fortune-telling tool for riders. Taiwan Railways' EMU900 commuter trains feature mascot Tielu, who playfully announces door-opening directions on LED displays to entertain and inform passengers during their trips.
