TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taiwan Excellence Drone International Business Opportunity Alliance (TEDIBOA, 台灣卓越無人機海外商機聯盟) and the Polish Institute of Drone Association (PISB, 波蘭無人機協會) signed a letter of intent on Wednesday (Dec. 10) to enhance collaboration in drone technology and industry applications. This move aims to strengthen ties between Taiwan and Poland in the drone sector.

TEDIBOA announced in a press release that the partnership focuses on creating a non-red supply chain, system integration, and key technology cooperation, as well as aligning bilateral regulations and market access. Minister Ming-Hsin Kung (龔明鑫) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) witnessed the signing. He emphasized the alliance's focus on cybersecurity, particularly the non-red supply chain.

 

From January to October 2025, Taiwan was the top exporter of drones to Poland, as shown by the data. highlighting the robust cooperation between the two countries. TEDIBOA Chairman Tsao Chin-ping (曹進平) noted that the Russia-Ukraine war has shifted global defense strategies, making drones essential for national security and industry. Since its inception, the alliance has actively integrated Taiwanese businesses to offer a secure, reliable, and resilient supply chain to the global market, fostering collaborations with friendly nations.

This agreement marks a significant step forward, promising deeper Taiwan-Poland collaboration in drone technology. As both countries work towards a more secure and integrated industry, the partnership sets a precedent for future international cooperation in the field.
