TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The 2026 Golden Disc Awards, a major South Korean music awards ceremony, will make its Taiwan debut on Saturday (Jan. 10) at the Taipei Dome (台北大巨蛋). The event marks the first time the prestigious ceremony ventures outside South Korea to Taiwan, drawing numerous K-pop stars to the island. Multiple K-pop groups arrived at Taoyuan International Airport (桃園國際機場) on Thursday (Jan. 8) ahead of the ceremony.

The arrivals sparked excitement among K-pop enthusiasts gathered at the airport to greet their favorite artists.
LE SSERAFIM, nominated in the Digital Song Division for their hit "HOT," greeted cameras warmly and made heart gestures upon their afternoon arrival. NCT WISH touched down at the airport around 3 p.m., quickly departing under staff guidance. ALLDAY PROJECT, nominated for both the Digital Song and Rookie Awards, arrived from Incheon wearing all-black attire. The group is among the newest acts competing for recognition at the prestigious ceremony.
Seven-member boy group ARrC nodded to the media as they cleared customs, allowing fans close interaction. Singer ZO ZAZZ, who arrived shortly after 10 a.m., competes for the Rookie and Digital Song Awards. The TVBS Entertainment Channel (TVBS歡樂台) will broadcast pre-show coverage from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday (Jan. 10), with live coverage running from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. K-pop fans can also watch on Disney+. ◼
