TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The Ministry of Education (教育部) announced on Tuesday (Jan. 20) the launch of the "Team MUSE" event, inviting the public to explore various cultural institutions and collect stamps. Participants who gather stamps from the three locations can exchange them for dinosaur-themed promotional items, symbolizing exploration across diverse knowledge fields.
The event will run from Jan. 24 to March 31, allowing participants to collect stamps using a physical card or the "iMuseum Taiwan" app. Those who use the electronic stamp option can also enter a bonus lottery, adding extra excitement to the experience. The Ministry of Education has partnered with the National Palace Museum (故宮博物院) and other cultural institutions to promote this initiative.
In addition to the main event, the National Science and Technology Museum (科學工藝博物館) will offer a "Winter Break Special Mission" where participants will follow a learning sheet to solve clues and complete tasks for a chance to win a mysterious reward. Meanwhile, the Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (台灣美術館) will host the "Leap to Fame with Horses Exhibition," showcasing 90 award-winning pieces and featuring special works by artists Lin Ren-hsin (林仁信) and Juin Shieh (謝鴻均).
The National Palace Museum will present the "Palace Pets New Year Special" family exhibition, designed with eight interactive game checkpoints for exploring cultural relics. The Ministry of Education encourages people to join "Team MUSE" during the winter break to enjoy self-directed learning and discover knowledge treasures across various fields, aiming to become "knowledge home run kings."
