Counterfeit money circulating ahead of Chinese New Year

TAIPEI (TVBS News) — With Chinese New Year around the corner, counterfeit money is circulating on the market.

The fake bills are easy to spot. For example, Sun Yat-sen is smiling with his teeth out on a NT＄100 bill.

For NT＄1,000 bills, there should be a total of 6 children on the bill, instead of 4.

Food deliverers are reportedly sharing info on online platforms from which households they have received counterfeit notes.
