EVA anticipates record-high bonuses amid aviation recovery

TAIPEI (TVBS News) — EVA Airways Corporation announced on Monday (Dec. 25) its plans to reward employees with substantial year-end bonuses, averaging six months' salary, owing to the expected global aviation industry recovery in 2023.

This extraordinary bonus marks a historic high for the company. Additional employee compensation bonuses, contingent on annual earnings, are projected to be disbursed in mid-2024.

Starting next year, EVA will significantly adjust salaries for ground and flight crews. Ground crew and cabin crew salaries will see an increase of approximately NT＄5,000, while the hike in pilot salaries will range between NT＄11,000 to NT＄20,000, depending on rank.

It is important to note that the bonuses and salary adjustments are subject to individual overall performance.

The year-end bonus initiative extends beyond EVA Airways to encompass various companies under its jurisdiction, including Evergreen Aviation Technologies Corp., Evergreen Airline Services Corporation, Evergreen Sky Catering Corporation, and Evergreen Air Cargo Services Corp.
