TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA, 經濟部) announced that Taiwan Sugar Corporation (台糖), Taiwan Power Company (台電), CPC Corporation (中油), and Taiwan Water Corporation (台水) plan to recruit 616 new employees this year. Officials released the application guidelines on Wednesday (July 9). The recruitment aims to rejuvenate the workforce, improve human resource structures, and pass on core skills and experience.
The hiring process will cover 22 categories: business management, human resources, and finance. The ministry detailed that categories such as business management will recruit 102 individuals, electrical engineering 164, and mechanical engineering 69, among others. Monthly starting salaries for new employees range from NT$44,000 to NT$45,000, with an expected increase to NT$62,000 by the fifth year of employment.
Officials emphasized that salaries will follow each company's regulations, and any adjustments will adhere to the revised standards. This recruitment drive attracts diverse talent across various professional fields, fostering growth and innovation within state-owned enterprises.
