Chen's term begins in January 2026, marking a new chapter in strengthening U.S.-Taiwan relations. The chamber, which represents American business interests in Taiwan, aims to focus on resilient supply chains, energy security, and technological ecosystems under her leadership.
Chen emphasized the importance of establishing protective mechanisms for the bilateral partnership to navigate geopolitical challenges. The incoming chairperson stated that the chamber's mission focuses on ensuring stable development amid complex geopolitical tensions. Her extensive experience in government relations and public policy, including her current role at Google Taiwan, positions her as a key figure in advancing U.S.-Taiwan economic ties.
AmCham Taiwan highlighted Chen's deep institutional understanding and active participation in the chamber's operations.
