TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Tigerair Taiwan (台灣虎航) launched a limited-time offer, "Lucky Bag Surprise Journey" (開運福袋 抽出驚喜旅程), starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday (Jan. 8). The promotion features one-way, pre-tax tickets to 10 Japan and South Korea routes from NT$1,599. Simultaneously, KKday is promoting spring's popular Japan cherry blossom season with round-trip tickets to Tokyo and Osaka from NT$10,900 and NT$11,888, respectively.
Travelers can book Tigerair Taiwan's tickets from 10 a.m. today until 11:59 p.m. tomorrow for flights between July 15 and Oct. 25. On the Japan routes, one-way fares start at NT$1,599 for Taipei-Okinawa, NT$1,699 for Taipei-Okayama, and NT$1,799 for Taipei-Osaka, Nagoya, Komatsu, and Fukuoka. South Korea routes include Taipei-Seoul Incheon and Taipei-Busan from NT$1,699, and Taipei-Jeju Island at NT$1,999. These prices apply only through the exclusive booking webpage for members.
KKday has also released early bird packages for the triennial Setouchi Triennale art festival, starting in April in Japan's Seto Inland Sea, with discounts at cultural facilities in Kagawa and Okayama prefectures from NT$795. The 2025 F1 Japanese Grand Prix will take place in April at Suzuka Circuit, with KKday offering exclusive three-day tickets starting at NT$15,770.
As January approaches its end, the Australian Open in Melbourne offers ticket and accommodation packages starting at NT$59,935.
