TAIPEI (TVBS News) — South Korean star Solar (솔라, 頌樂) attended the Catwalk (凱渥) opening ceremony on Monday (Feb. 23), sharing her excitement about releasing her second Chinese song on March 9. She teased fans with a collaboration featuring a "very cool singer," though she kept the artist's identity a "secret."
During the event, Solar expressed anticipation for her upcoming song, noting her collaborator as a "can't-say secret." Over the Lunar New Year, she reunited with her family and gained nearly 7 kilograms. Despite the weight gain, she admitted she's not ready to start dieting.
Solar enjoyed her first experience at the opening ceremony, remarking that South Korea has no similar events. She felt delighted to receive a red envelope, a gesture she found heartwarming. Additionally, a fan gifted her a scratch ticket, which she won, earning NT$1,000, which she found very interesting.
Expressing her love for Taiwanese cuisine, Solar highlighted her fondness for danzai noodles. She looks forward to trying more local dishes. Solar plans to stay in Taiwan until Friday (Feb. 27) and intends to return for another week, frequently traveling back and forth.
